Tours times have been set!

We will be having an open house for our first weekend. Plan on stopping by, taking the tour, grabbing a sample of our beers and getting out so we can make room for everybody. Oh yeah, buy a shirt or some cool swag so you can show your friends what you did over the weekend.

If you can’t wait to meet us, we will be at our newest St. Paul location, Sweeney’s, this Tuesday night, 7-9. Free pint glasses to those that GET SURLY!

Also this week, see us at Blondie’s from 9-11 on Thursday night.

You can now GET SURLY at the Highland Grill in St. Paul and Joe’s Garage in Loring Park, Minneapolis. Joe’s is a great place to grab a Furious and a great burger. Look for their killer deck to open soon!

Surly is planning on opening to the public for tours (which, of course, involve beer tastings) on May 12 & 13. Yes 2006. Look, we have been really busy brewing beer because people keep drinking it. Yes, it took a long time, but simmer down – it’s gonna be cool.

Two beers on cask – Bourbon Bender and maybe a dry-hopped cask of Furious. I’m not sure exactly… I’ll have to see what Todd wants to do special for the Grand Opening. Of course, we will have Bender and Furious on tap. Our summer beer? Well it may or might not be ready. More details to follow. See you there.

This Wednesday, April 5th, Omar will be at the Old Chicago in Eagan, from 7-9 pm. We will be giving Surly glasses away to people who order a Surly. Hurry, quantities are limited! Both Furious and Bender will be on tap, and we will be giving away some swag. Tell your friends and see you there.

PS. Omar will be at both the Blaine (4-6 pm) and Uptown (7-9 pm) Old Chicago’s next Wednesday. It’s hard work to run a brewery. Check back for updates!
