The 2nd Annual Surly Golf Open is here! Leave your balls @ home, this one is a disc golf tourney. The date is Saturday, June 21st. The location is at Hyland Hills in Bloomington. We will be having 2 shotgun starts, one at 9:00 and one at 1:30, so you will need to choose one when you sign up. The cost is $30 to play. The event will take place rain or shine! Print out your registration form and bring it to the event 45 minutes before your shotgun start, the receipt is your ticket to the event!
What do you get for $30? Well:
- You get to play at the 2nd Surly Open
- You will get a Discraft Surly Open Golf Disc
- Lunch.
- Surly tap beers for a buck
- We plan on donating a portion of the proceeds to charity
One other thing, this is not a competitive Disc Golf Tournament. There will be no prize for 1st place. Omar's an ultimate player and occasional disc golfer and the idea is to get out there and have some fun.
The burger basket: burger (veggie available), chips, pickle and water will be available from 11:30 to about 1:00. Morning players can eat after they play and afternoon players will need to show up early and grab their food.
Show up early to sign up for your hole start and whom you will be playing with. A few folks are gonna walk away with a keg of Surly. You will get your choice of a Surly driver or putter. We will have additional discs for sale at the tourney.
