Surly turns 20 this year. That’s a big effing deal! In an ever-evolving industry like ours, two decades is a real accomplishment.
We would never have reached this landmark without the unwavering support of the Surly community–craft beer drinkers, metalheads, soccer moms, minivan dads, weird uncles, party aunts, middle managers, BC Taproom regulars–far and wide.
Surly Gives a Damn (SGAD) is our charitable arm. It’s our way of giving back to the communities that built us. We contribute to organizations that make our part of the world a better place to live, through donations, partnerships and volunteer events. Our volunteers are a vital, passionate bunch, and they really do give a damn. You’re more than welcome to join. We’d love to have you.

Lake Bait is brewed with Cryo Krush, Anchovy, and Mosaic hops, delivering bright aromas of tangerine, mixed berries, and watermelon hard candy accompanied by tropical notes of guava and fresh mango, finishing with a dry yet balanced, resinous hop character.
